Members of Matar board are volunteering parents, who support the emissary in their work of leading Tzofim and community activities.  The board's main responsibilities are management and control of the Shevet operations.

All participating members, including the co-chairs and treasurer, are volunteers and do not receive any material compensation.  This privilege entails Zionism, development of leadership, self esteem, and life skills, Israeli and Jewish identity, networking with other branches throughout the US, and many more Tzofim core values.
